Monica Jones - Principal

My name is Monica Jones and I am very excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of Innovation Academy West! I am honored that I was chosen to lead such an amazing school and be a part of your great community. I have heard nothing but positive things about the students, staff, families and community. I have spent the last month working with Maria as she helped me to transition smoothly into my new role.

I come to you with a background that is rooted in education and leadership. I wholeheartedly believe that great schools are the result of staff and family communication and collaboration. My primary goal is to continue to create an environment where students can thrive and achieve academic success.

In addition to my professional experience, my greatest pleasure is my family. I am married with five adult children, the youngest being 18. I have two lovely granddaughters, a handsome grandson, and another grandchild on the way. As a parent, I always want what is best for my children, so I will work hard to ensure your children will continue to have the best possible experiences at Innovation Academy West.

I am looking forward to meeting you and working together as we build upon our IAW community.
