Our Programs

Innovation Academy West provides students with a maker space. This space that expands on STEAM topics. It creates real problem-solving opportunities and the life skill that “Failure is part of the process.” A natural part of solving a problem is trying something that does not work. Kids working on projects in makerspaces can work on these skills in a safe environment.

Innovation Academy West’s maker space includes tools from Makey, Makey®; Sphero®, Cricut™ and more.

Extracurricular Programs

Our after-school programs will introduce students to a variety of age appropriate activities after school.  These activities are used to encourage team play, cooperation and collaboration.

Character Assembly – Student of the Month

Character Assembly is an opportunity to have fun and celebrate the positive behaviors in the building.  Students should be asked to write on a piece of paper their candidate for Student of the Month.  This person should have displayed the character trait the best this month.  This is not a teacher selection.  The two students with the highest number of votes counted in the class are Student of the Month.
